Portrait Commissions - My objective and passion as a portrait artist is to create a memorable, personalized, and intimate memory for my clients. Your relationships are sacred and the art you surround yourself with should reflect this.

To that end, my work represents a rich and vibrant moment in time and appear larger than life . I typically spend 15-20 hours on each portrait, capturing not only your loved one’s likeness, but their personality and mood; the sparkle in their eyes, the warmth of their skin, and the quirkiness of their smile. I achieve this through various blending, layering, and shading techniques that I have developed over more than 20 years. The end result is a painting that looks more alive than any photograph ever could (but please don’t touch them! The pastel paintings will smudge!).

• Base Price starts at is $5 per square inch, to be adjusted based on additional faces and complexity.

• A 15%, non-refundable deposit is required. Payment options are flexible and can be discussed.

Pricing Includes:

• Studio visit - an opportunity for you to review my portfolio and consider what type of painting you prefer.

• 30-60 minute consultation - We discuss and agree upon a source, medium, and dimensions. This can be done in office or by zoom/teams. I require a hight quality image with quality resolution as well as input from you regarding what type and style of portrait you prefer.

• Pastel Paintings include professional matting - single color, single layer matte with acid free backing; All materials are archival quality and made by professionals. Additional matte layers, options, and framing are extra.

• Acrylic paintings include a professional grade, deep edge cotton or linen canvas with fully wrapped side and back edges.
